Jesus Christ is the great equalizer of races, gender, economic status. In Him there is no distinction between male, female, black, white, poor, rich. In Him there is no Baptist, no Catholic, no Pentecostal, no Presbyterian. In Him we are all one. In Him we each have an inheritance, we each have a promise.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we saw everyone as if they are in Jesus? If all human life was valued and churches were not divided by race, denominations and economic status. How amazing it would be if churches everywhere embraced and encouraged women to walk in their gifts and callings.

I believe if churches began modeling this, we could heal our nation. I believe if the church set the example of unity, loved and accepted people from all ethnic backgrounds, and saw women as equals, we could make our nation great. For if our nation is to be great we must be unified not divided, inclusive not exclusive, loving not hateful.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (‭Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭28-29‬ NIV)
