Family, Jesus and emboldening others are Melissa’s passions. She loves to teach on God’s love, the power of grace, and our identity in Christ. She also enjoys empowering the Body of Christ to walk in freedom from fear and depression. Through weekly bible studies and regular speaking engagements, Melissa can often be found leading others into a deeper revelation of the Father’s love.

Melissa has been a faithful member of Hope Chapel Foursquare Church in Apex, NC for over 13 years. There she has served as leader of the Sunday Morning Prayer Team, Woman’s Pastor, a member of the Church’s council and currently leads the Prophetic Prayer Team where she facilitates Prophetic Training. As an ordained Pastor with Foursquare International Church and published author, Melissa speaks around the world empowering men and women to embrace the fullness of God.

Born in Baton Rouge, LA, Melissa graduated from Southern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. She received her Masters of Education from Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. Currently, Melissa teaches math at Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC.

Happily married for over 30 years, Melissa and James have three biological children, a son-in-law and many spiritual daughters. They currently live in Holly Springs, NC where they enjoy Disney and superhero movies.

We believe Jesus resurrected from the grave and his resurrection power dwells within us. (Philippians 3:10, 11)
