Back to School Outreach and Carnival

We were thrilled to provide over 190 students with everything they needed for a successful school year at last year’s event! Through our back-to-school initiative, students have the opportunity to “shop” for all of their school supplies, ensuring they are prepared and confident for the year ahead. In addition to supplies, we also offer gently used clothing for both parents and children, helping families feel supported in more ways than one.
**There are two events where students can pick up their supplies, and you must attend one of these events to receive supplies (we will not deliver supplies this year).
Friday, August 14, 6:30 – 8:00 pm
On Friday, kids can attend a Carnival in addition to picking up their school supplies! This combined event starts at 6:30 pm at James A. Campbell Park in Fuquay-Varina. Kids who attend will end the summer with Sno Cones, crafts, games, and food, and start off the school year with the supplies they need. Free gently used clothing will be available.

Saturday, August 15, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Students can pick up their school supplies at Maple Ridge Apartments in Holly Springs starting at 11:00 am. A variety of supplies will be available for parents and students to “shop” for exactly what they need. There will be hot dogs, games, crafts, and free gently used clothing.
