His Scepter is Always Extended

As Christians we have a plethora of spiritual blessings. But if I had to narrow it down to a favorite, it would be “intimacy with God”. I love that we have 24/7 access to the Father. I love that no matter how badly I mess up, He still welcomes me with open arms. I love that I can always go into His presence and hear His voice.

In the morning as I read my bible, His voice is there speaking to me through His word. In my car, driving to work, we converse about my fears, my worries, when I’m teaching, He gives me wisdom on presenting a topic. His presence brings me peace comfort and assurance.

Brothers and sisters, God desires to spend time with you. He longs to be gracious to you. His scepter is always extended toward you. Run into His arms today. Let him wipe your tears away, release you from any shame, guilt or condemnation with His acceptance, alleviate your fears with His love, remind you of who He called you to be and overshadow you with His goodness. His scepter is always extended toward you.

In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬ NIV)
