Vindication

Have you ever been in a situation where a coworker, or a supervisor, or a committee member just didn’t like you or just made your life difficult? How do you respond?

Do you retreat?
Do you stoop to their level?
Do you suffer like a good little soldier?

I have been in a situations like this. I have reacted by doing the first two. But what I have found is the best response is to give the situation to God, to seek His wisdom. It is God who vindicates His children. It is God who rescues. It is God who restores.

Are you in a difficult situation at work? Retreating is easy. But as my husband is want to say, no matter where you go, there you are. Stooping to their level satisfies temporarily. But remember we do not fight against flesh and blood. The response that will lasts forever, is to seek God’s wisdom and bring God’s kingdom into your situation. Seek God’s protection. His arm is not short. He will restore. He will redeem. He will vindicate. Trust.

“But the LORD delivers the godly; he protects them in times of trouble. The LORD helps them and rescues them; he rescues them from evil men and delivers them, for they seek his protection.”
