Can I tell you a secret? Just as we want our children to succeed in school and in life, God wants His children to succeed. Prosperity is not something cooked up by Televangelist in the 80’s. It is a godly principle.

Now, I’m too am offended by the notion that favor, blessing, and healing can be purchased for a donation to a ministry. But that is not godly prosperity. Godly prosperity simply means to do better.

Prosperity is not measured by bank accounts, square footage, or the size of one’s jet. Prosperity is measured by a heart that loves God and others.

God wants us to prosper. He wants us to give us good gifts. He wants to bless us so that we can be a blessing.

I’m praying for true prosperity in 2020. Will you join me?

Preemptive Strike 2020 Day 3 – Praying for Financial Breakthrough

“Father, you are good and your mercy endures forever. You are a good and generous Father who gives good gifts to your children. Every good and perfect gift comes from above.

When you established your covenant with Abraham, you promised, “You would bless him and he shall be a blessing.” We stand in agreement with that promise as children of Abraham by faith. Bless us so that we can be a blessing.

Father, give me and my children wisdom to steward our resources well. Show us how to invest and how to save.

Father, give me and my children a generous heart. Show us where to give. Open our eyes to see the needs of others. Let us give in fertile grounds. Let us give not just money to the poor but our time and our resources. You have blessed us. Let us be a blessing.

Lord, I ask for job promotions and raises for me, my husband and my children. Let us find jobs that will bring fulfillment. Give us wisdom and favor at work.

Lord, bless our businesses. Give us favor with our customers and increase our customer base. Everything we put our hands to shall prosper and succeed. Let us be honorable as we conduct business. Give us creative ideas to increase our revenue streams and promote our business.

Father in 2020, unexpected income is coming our way. Debt is being cancelled. Financial freedom is a reality. Father, you gave us your Son, how will you not freely with Him give us all things. So Father, thank you for financial breakthrough that’s coming our way in 2020.
