Thank you Lord for making me who I am. Thank you for the gifts and talents you have given me. I don’t want to be anyone else. I love me because you love me. I like me because you like me. I value me because you value me.

Thank you for my heritage. I descend from people of strength, honor, and beauty. Thank you for my beautiful brown skin, my dark brown eyes, my full lips, and my curves. I am altogether beautiful and you find no fault in me.

I thank you for my femininity. I was created to nurture others, to birth life, to love unconditionally. I was created to be a warrior, a defender of justice. I was created to be victorious as I fight in the heavens for my family, my community, for justice.

I thank you Lord that nothing about me was a mistake. I was created with both intentionality and purpose. I was uniquely and intricately made. I am a divine collaboration of the Trinity.

I am beautiful. I am strong. I am accepted by you. I am loved by you. I am your poem written to declare your glory beauty and your majesty.

I am valuable.

Today, I will see the beauty and value in others. I will see the uniqueness and intricacies of others. I will appreciate their heritage and will encourage every person to see their beauty and value. Today, I will honor God, the Creator by honoring those He created.
