Not Separated

Does God walk away from us when we sin?
Does He stop talking to us when we sin?

When Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree, they hid. They covered. God continued to speak to them. God looked for them.

David said, “Where can I hide from His presence. If I make my bed in hell, He is there.”

An aversion to sin did not prevent Jesus from allowing a prostitute to anoint Him; or from answering the heart felt cry of Gentile seeking deliverance for her daughter; or from forgiving an adulterer caught in the very act.

If you are still unsure, if you still believe there is some great sin in your life preventing God from answering your prayers or preventing God from speaking with you, meditate on this truth:

“Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored,”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:21-22‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Read that last statement again and again and again.

And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored.

There is NOTHING standing between you and the Father.
Not that abortion.
Not that DUI.
Not that affair.
Not that divorce.
Not that STD.
Nothing.

Your slate has been wiped cleaned! You now stand Holy. Flawless. Blameless. Restored. Redeemed before God.

He is that good. His grace is that amazing. His love is that extravagant. His sacrifice is that complete!
