Yesterday, as I walked in my neighborhood, I noticed this sign in one of my neighbor’s yard.
I don’t know this neighbor. I don’t know there religious beliefs but I thought, “Man, they understand the heart of God in this matter.”
God’s heart is not just for America. God’s heart is for the nations. And as Christians, that should be our heart as well.
The sign in my neighbor’s yard, should be the sign of our hearts.
When I first started teaching, the Lord gave me the Bible verse:
“Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession. Psalms 2:8 NLT
I didn’t know what it meant and quite honestly, I didn’t want to know what it meant. I was not interested in the life of a missionary. But I asked anyway. Ten years later, I began teaching at a school with over 70 nationalities. The nations came to me.
Nations are coming to America. What are we, as Christians, going to do about it? Perhaps this story will help you decide:
While researching for my book, I interviewed a woman who was born in India and raised Hindu. Her husband, also from India, was raised Catholic. Their jobs transferred them to America shortly after the wedding. Through many miraculous events (you will have to get my book to get all of the details), she and her husband were saved.
Indians, typically have very strong family ties. This woman then witnessed to her mom and aunts who are still In India and they accepted Jesus as Savior as well. A family, a community in India is being taught the Gospel because of what happened on America soil.
I ask again, God is brining the nations to us. What are you going to do about it?
