Preach the Gospel. Heal the sick. Know you are protected. Speak with new tongues. Drive out demons.
This is the supernatural life we are invited to live.
In one week, I will be in Mexico sharing the Gospel. I am standing on God’s promise that signs and wonders will follow. I’m believing people will fall more in love with Jesus. I am praying that eyes will opened and Jesus will be revealed.
But Jesus did not say only do these things while on a mission’s trip. He told His disciples to start in Jerusalem, at home. We are called to the mission’s field 24/7.
You may not be called to go on a mission’s trip. It may not be your season, but we are all invited to go into our Jerusalem, our neighborhoods, our communities. (And your Jerusalem is no less important than a remote village in a Muslim country.)
So Go. Preach the Gospel in your Jerusalem. Stand on God’s promise that signs and wonders will follow in Apex, in Holly Springs, in Cary. Believe your message will cause people to fall more in love with Jesus. Pray eyes will be opened and people will receive a greater revelation of God’s love.
The mission’s field is in your backyard.
“And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.”
And the apostles went out announcing the good news everywhere, as the Lord himself consistently worked with them, validating the message they preached with miracle-signs that accompanied them!”
