Promises

God’s will is His Word. Testament means “will”. As we read the word of God, we are reading His will for us. I love diving into the Word and discovering a new promise, a new provision of the will I didn’t know was there before.

Once discovered, I can believe it; I can trust it shall come to pass in my life.

What promises does God have in store for you tucked away in His Word? What has He promised concerning your health? Your prosperity? Your peace? Your children? Your ministry? Your success?

We don’t have to strive to see His promises fulfilled. We don’t demand of God because He has freely given it to us. But we must recognize what has been allocated to us in His Word and execute the will.

I don’t want to leave this world with unclaimed promises. I want ALL God has for me. Jesus paid to high a price for me to be lax about procuring those promises.

Come on friends, let us take hold on what God has freely and generously provided for us!

“But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.” For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:18-20‬ ‭NIV‬‬
