Falsely imprisoned. Chained. Bound. Peter peacefully slept while others prayed for him. While he was sleeping, his deliverance came. While he was resting, chains were broken. When he didn’t understand what was happening, he was set free.
Our prayers are powerful. We may have a loved one bound in sin, chained in addictions, enslaved by fear. But we can petition our Father on their behalf and He can set them free. Our prayers are powerful and effective.
The church prayed for Peter and he was set free. Pray for your loved one and watch God set them free.
“So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.” Acts 12:5, 7 NIV
