Not Me But Him

I could never pray for the sick because I ….
I could never lead a bible study because I ….
I could never go on a mission’s trip because I ….
I could never give a prophetic Word because I …
I could never hear from God because I …

How many times do we disqualify ourselves because we are relying on OUR strength, OUR ability, OUR resources. When we rely on ourselves the results are natural. You may be a good teacher in the natural, or an encourager in the natural. But I don’t want natural. I want supernatural and that requires God!

When God asks you to do something, He doesn’t care about your ability, your natural gifts.

“He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might. No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:10-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

So let us stop disqualifying ourselves and recognize that we are qualified because of God. He asks us to do the impossible not to set us up for failure but to teach us to trust Him. In Him, we can do the SuperNatural. Let’s change our confession.

I can pray for the sick because God….
I can lead a bible study because God …
I can go on a mission’s trip because God….
I can give a prophetic Word because God…
I can hear from God because God …

Let us take the “I’m” out of Impossible and see that in the Great “I Am”, everything is POSSIBLE.
