Come in close and let me tell you a secret.

“If you are in Christ, God is NOT angry with you!”

Yeah, I know you have done some things for which you are ashamed. I know you disappointed those around you. I know.

But still, “God is not angry with you.”

We were all subject to God’s anger. We all have messed up, disappointed, and cowered in shame. But God who is rich in mercy and loves you so much, made His son the propitiation for your sin. That just means, God poured out His wrath on Jesus, so that He would never be angry with you again.

God is not angry with you!

So run into His arms. Find refuge in Him. Look to Him and your face will not be covered with shame. He is for you regardless of your past mistakes.

Any weapon coming against you at this moment is not because of God. He is NOT the author of your pain and misfortune. He loves you! He is not angry with you.

You can trust him in the storm. You can rely on him to deliver you from the storm. He didn’t send the storm to punish you. Storms happen. He is not angry with you. He loves you.

My sister, my brother, believe me when I say, “God is not angry with you.” Find hope in that truth. Let it change the way you go through trials. Let it shape the way you hear His voice. Surely, let it change the way you approach God.

He is for you. He loves you. He fights for you!

““Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you. For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.”
