As God transitioned the nation of Israel from Moses’ leadership to Joshua’s, he did not change the ultimate goal. The goal was still the promised land. The season changed. The promised remained.
Change is not easy. But all great moves of God require a change, a shift, a repositioning. Is God repositioning you?
When God brings you into a new season, He reminds you of the promise. He told Joshua, “Every place the soles of your foot touch is yours to have.” My child, in this new season you will experience success.
He commands you to move forward. Letting go of a past season, especially a fruitful season is difficult. But God’s command to Joshua was, “Arise and go.” Don’t hold unto the past, embrace the new. My child, in this new season you shall conquer.
God travels with us in the new season. As a matter of fact, new levels produces greater reliance on the Father. New seasons forces us to lay down our idols and focused only on God. He has promised to never leave or forsake us, and He especially is not leaving us high and dry in a new season. My child, I will be with you in this season like never before.
Our responsibility in this new season is twofold. First, be strong and courageous. Be bold. Take chances. You may feel alone, abandoned. You are not. The resurrection power of Jesus is within you. Secondly, stay connected to the Father through His Word and through His voice. Keep the vision in the forefront of your mind. My child, you are brave and fearless. You hear and heed my voice.
Get excited about the new season God has for you!
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.””
