It’s Eviction Day

Was Judas responsible for betraying Jesus? The Bible says Satan entered Judas right before he began the plot to turn Him over. So was he responsible?

Yes.

Satan did not just enter Judas, he was invited. He was invited every time Judas stole from the treasury. He was invited when Judas criticized the woman’s expression of worship. He was an invited guest.

We too sometime invite Satan. When we criticize one another we are accusing the brethren. When we complain we are speaking His love language. When we believe his lies, we empower his work in our lives. When we refuse to forgive or dwell on past offenses, we allow our hearts and minds to become his playground.

But at any moment, we can evict his sorry butt from occupying our thoughts and break free from his lies. Judas had the same option. I don’t care how many times you have partnered with him, I don’t care how long you have believed his lies. Today is a New day. Today he has to go. Today is a good day for an eviction of his influence over you and a good day for truth to move in.

“Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭22:3-4‬
