What is preventing you from doing what God has called you to do? Is lack of resources – time, money, people? Is it a lack of passion? Is it fear of failure? Is it a lack of self-confidence?

God told His people to rebuild the temple. They delayed. I have a friend who says, “delayed obedience is disobedience.” But God had Haggai speak one word to them, “I am with you.”

This is all you need to move forward – God is with you. Because there is no lack of resources where God is. There is no fear in His Presence. Where God is present, I need not rely on my own strength or my own ability. God is calling you to step out and know, “He is with you!”

I pray this morning that God will spark enthusiasm for that which He has called you to do. I pray that you will rest in knowing, “He is with you”. That He is going before you and making a way and He is going with you, holding your hand, and He is behind you protecting you. I pray that you would take a leap of faith today! I pray open doors and favor upon you. God is with you, so Go!

Then Haggai, the LORD’s messenger, gave the people this message from the LORD: “I am with you, says the LORD!” So the LORD sparked the enthusiasm of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the enthusiasm of Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the enthusiasm of the whole remnant of God’s people. They began to work on the house of their God, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, (Haggai 1:13-14 NLT)
