Homework

Headed home today from a Mexico Missions Trip, thinking about the previous week. God has been so good this week. Here are some of the highlights:

Over 130 children loved and taught the gospel.

VBS – Tizimin, Mexico

Over 40 adults loved, taught deep truths on their identity and God’s love.

Numerous healings – eyesight restored, woman had stomach pain four days and was delivered, man had pain in body and couldn’t move his knee without pain but left dancing, shoulder and neck pain healed from several people, arthritis pain gone, knee pain gone.

Numerous salvations.

This is what Jesus commanded us to do. But I have to ask, why is it easier in Mexico than at home? Why do I allow the business of life to thwart the business of the kingdom.

I know, as I reminded a young lady yesterday, my job is my ministry, but I also want to be more intentional in preaching the gospel, laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover. I spoke at a church Sunday night and I gave them homework.

Preaching in Tizimín, Mexico

Heal the sick
Feed the poor
Cast out demons
Love your neighbor
Preach the gospel

As I travel home, to the land of abundance, this is my homework as well. Will you make it yours?
