“Faith is 99% obedience.” and “It’s not how much faith you have but how much faith God has in you.”
Two truths spoken this Sunday by Ed Silvoso that have me pondering. These statements are a paradigm shift and if we believe it, have the power to break off inactivity and fear.
Believing in the God within us prompts us into action. God has faith that he has equipped us with everything we need. We simply just need to agree with his faith in us.
I have faith when I lay hands on the sick they will recover because God said, “You will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.” My faith is not in my hands or my abilities. God has faith that I can do it. I’m just agreeing His faith.
I have faith my family will all come to the Lord because The Bible says, “You and your family will be saved.” My Faith is not in my prayers but in His faith that my family will be saved.
When I partner with the faith God has in me, inaction is broken. Fear dissipates. I will obey what God tells me to do because He has faith that I can do it. I have faith in His faith.
God has faith that you can lay hands on the sick and see them recover, prophesy, feed the hungry, bring reconciliation, start a business, write the next best seller, speak around the world, teach a bible study, preach the gospel, be a light in the darkness, take on more responsibility at work, and so much more. Agree with the faith He has in you and come on, let’s change our world.
“”So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.”
Luke 11:9-10 NASB
