Has God given you a promise? He cannot lie. He cannot deny himself. He is faithful.

Has God given you a dream? He cannot lie. He cannot deny himself. He is faithful.

Has God asked you to step out in faith? He cannot lie. He cannot deny himself. He is faithful.

God has given me a promise and a dream. I have stepped out in faith and honestly, it’s a little scary out here. The voices in my head are screaming, “What if you fail? What if you were presumptuous?”

As I confront the voices in my head, I come to the following conclusions:  If I fail, God still loves me. I am still accepted in the beloved. And just as Jesus took Peter’s hand and led him back to the boat when he fell after walking on water, Jesus will do the same for me. If I am presumptuous, I will have learned to discern the voice of God better next time. But Jesus is pleased with our faith, so I will have pleased God because I dared to hear His voice and obey. So, I guess I’m saying, this stepping out in faith is a win-win situation for me.

Is God calling you to take a step of faith today? Stand on a promise? Embrace a dream? Know He is faithful and in Jesus, His promises are YES!

For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us. (2 Corinthians 1:20 NASB)
