I never noticed how this was written as a prophetic decree.

I may be tired but I will rejoice and be glad today.

I may be in pain, but I will rejoice and be glad today.

My marriage may be in trouble but I will rejoice and be glad today.

I may be experiencing financial trouble but I will rejoice and be glad today.

No matter my circumstances, this day I choose to rejoice and be glad.

Because God has gifted me with another opportunity to bless someone, to love people, to be His hands and His feet, His voice, His heart. God has given me this beautiful day. I will make the most of it by rejoicing and being glad.
