And this same God who spoke and the world came into existence…

This same God who parted a sea…

This same God who sustained a people for forty years so that their shoes were not worn nor were any sick among them…

This same God who permitted a man and woman past childbearing age to become the Parents of a multitude…

This same God who sustained a widow and a prophet on cornbread…

This same God who was in the fire with His servants and brought them out without the smell of smoke…

This same God who shut a lion’s mouth to protect His own…

This same God who healed the leper, gave sight to the blind, made the lame walk, healed the broken hearted…

This same God who raised the dead after it began to smell…

This same God who sent His son to save the world, die for our sins, forgive our iniquities…

This same God who willingly endure the cruelties of the cross so that we could have an abundant life on this side of heaven and an eternal life in the other side…

This same generous, all-powerful God will also supply your every need according to His vastness, according to His mercy, according to His faithfulness (not according to your faithfulness).

Take heart my friends. Some of you have heavy hearts this morning. You may feel as if are in the fire or the wilderness. You may have a financial need, a heart that needs mending, or a child that needs saving. This same God is in the midst of your need. I believe in the next few days, an unexpected blessing is coming your way. You will see God provide in an extraordinary way. He is faithful friends. He is the same God, yesterday, today, forever.
