My to do list is long. More things to do than hours in the day. How will I get it all done?
My Martha side wants to make a list to complete my list. My Mary side wants to do a biblical word study on the word peace.
If your to do list is long today, calm the war within and pray this with me:
“Lord, this is a day You have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I lay down my to do list at your feet. Let me not be so consumed with my to do list that I miss opportunities to be your hands, feet and mouthpiece.
I trust you will supply all of my needs according to Your riches in glory. Give me the time I need to accomplish my tasks today. Let everything I need to do today be done with ease and grace. Give me the wisdom and the strength I need to get it all done.
Let me greet this day with joy. Let my joy be contagious. Speak to me even as I do the mundane today. As I grade papers, teach Reiman Sums, attend meetings, tutor students, remind me I am ministering to you. It is all my worship to you.
Father, thank you that you go before me today, making my path straight. Thank you that you go with me, holding my hand and guiding my path. Thank you that you go behind me protecting my back.
Father, I declare this will be a good day. Productive. What I need to get done will be completed. You are good. You are faithful. I trust you with my day!”
Now boys and girls, let go out and be awesome today!
“This is the very day of the Lord that brings gladness and joy, filling our hearts with glee. O God, please come and save us again; bring us your breakthrough-victory!”
