“I will give you a promised land. It will be a land flowing with milk and honey. It will extend for miles. I will fill your houses with good things which you did not buy. You will dig treasures out of the land.”

This was the promise given the children of Israel when they left bondage. And this is the promise given to us when we leave our bondage behind. God has prepared a promised land for each us BUT we will take the Kingdom little by little, just as he instructed the Nation of Israel.

Little by little – because if he gave it to us all at one time, we would not have the fortitude to maintain it. So instead, we exercise our faith muscles taking a small portion. And as our faith muscles increase, we are able to take more and more of the land.

So go, take your promise land. Do not despise small beginnings. Be faithful in the small things because you are taking the Kingdom of God little by little, step by step, from glory to glory.
