Who do you need God to be in this moment?

I woke up this morning thinking about my day. Feeling inadequate. Feeling as if my offering was not enough. But then I read the story of Moses’ commission. Moses too felt inadequate. Moses felt as if he were not well equipped, not good enough, the wrong person for the job. But God simply encourages Moses with these words: I AM.

I AM with you. I AM whatever you need in the moment.

So, I will face my day because He IS. I will not worry about if what I have to give is adequate because HE IS my sufficiency. I will not fret about the outcome because HE IS sovereign. I will remind myself, “I AM sent me today. Therefore, all things are possible.”

Who do you need God to be today? HE IS.

“God replied to Moses, “ I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.””
