Happy New Year!
Thank you for taking this journey with me. I believe 2017 is going to be an awesome year for the Body of Christ. I believe we will receive a greater revelation of God’s love, we will see a greater demonstration of God’s power and we will see many people come to know Jesus as Savior.
I am excited to pray and declare these Holy Expectations over my life and my family’s life.
General Guidelines as you pray:
1. God has promised that anything we ask according to His will, He will answer (I John 5:15-15). We are praying God’s will (His word) therefore, let us pray in faith.
2. God has also promised that His word would not return void but it will achieve the purpose for which He sent it and will accomplish what God desires (Isaiah 55:10-11). Therefore, let us persevere in our prayers. Do not allow what we see with your eyes distract us from what God is doing in the spiritual realm. As we declare and pray His Word, it WILL accomplish God’s purposes.
3. Your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16), therefore pray with confidence. You are changing your world!
4. As I pray, I call each of my children (biological and spiritual) and my husband by name. I visualize them walking in the fullness of God. I try to see them as God sees them. I encourage you to do the same.
Ok, so here we go!
Day 1 of 31 – Abound in Love
Prayer:
Lord, I ask that my love and my family’s love abounds more and more in knowledge and depth of insight of Christ. Give me and my family discernment in every area of our lives, including our jobs and our ministries. We have been made pure and blameless for the day of Christ. Daily remind us of this. Continually fill us with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Christ for the glory and praise of Christ.
Declarations:
Perfect love casts out fear. I will not fear because I’m loved by God.
I can love others because God first loved me.
Decree:
Everyday, I receive a greater revelation of God’s love.
Scripture Reference:
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11 NIV
