I have a situation in my life that I have been praying about a long time…a long time. Through the years I have seen glimmers of hope but today the situation seems to be at its worse. Yesterday, once again I thought of giving up. Yesterday, hope was fleeting.

But God this morning once again reminded me of one of my favorite bible verses, “I would have given up if I not believe I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” He reminded me of His promise that 2016 is a year for dreams to come true.

So this morning once again, I hope. Once again I petition God. Once again, I envision what my miracle will look like. Once again, I have faith that God is working and fighting on my behalf. Once again, I wait expectingly. Once again, I am a prisoner of hope.

I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. (‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭13-14‬ NASB)
