“Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.””
Matthew 19:26 NLT
This was Jesus’ response to the disciples question, “Who can be saved?” You may read this and think, it is possible for every person to go to heaven because of God. While that is true, it’s not complete. Saved is “Sozo”. It means to protect, to heal, to prosper, to restore, to rescue, to make whole.
Despite whatever you are facing today, whatever impossibility has you overwhelmed, Jesus is looking at you intently and saying, “Baby girl, baby boy, nothing is impossible for me.”
Your salvation, purchased.
Your sickness, nailed to a cross.
Your rescue, secured.
Your lack, destroyed.
Your restoration, guaranteed.
Look intently at your impossibility and declare with confidence: “Impossibility, you are going down because my Savior who died and rose again, promised everything is possible. Therefore, impossibility, you are an illusion, you are a lie, you are a mirage. You have been sent to stop me from reaching my God-given purpose. But I refuse to give you any influence. Nothing is impossible for me. I’m a child of the Most High!”
