We were all destined for hell. All. But because of God’s extravagant love he rescued us from the path of destruction, paid for our sins, freely forgave us, declared us as righteous, gave us His name and called us children.
If that were the end of the story, that would have been enough. But it wasn’t. Because He Loved us, He gave us His Spirit to comfort us in times of darkness, to lead us into a greater revelation of His goodness, to empower us with miracle working gifts.
But still not the end of the story. He loved us so much, He chose to conjoined Himself to us, seated us in heavenly places, gave us authority over all the works of the enemy and commissioned us to heal the sick and preach the gospel.
Still not the end. He gave us this promise. If I didn’t spare My own Son, but gave Him up for you, how will I not with Him give you all things?
God has already proved His for love us. Does that mean you will never experience difficult times? Absolutely Not. It means that when yo go through that difficult time, you can rest assured you are loved. You can be confident that a loving, powerful God is holding your hand. You can be confident that you will not be consumed. You can have faith that you will be victorious and come out on the other side stronger, wiser, and more convinced of God’s love.
You are loved!
“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”
