Facebook asks, “What’s on your mind?”
What is on my mind – work. 100 students taking their first test. Have I adequately prepared them? Will they do well? What could I have done differently.
What is on my mind – #redefined. Will people buy it? Will it change lives? Will it bring emotional and physical healing?
But those thoughts of worry are overcome when I remember, I have the mind of Christ.
Jesus is not worried. He has perfect peace. Therefore, I am not worried. I have perfect peace.
Jesus is full of wisdom for every problem encountered today. Therefore, I have wisdom for every problem I encounter today.
Jesus thinks good thoughts about me. Therefore, I think good thoughts about me.
Now, what is on my mind?
I am accepted.
I am loved.
I am equipped with every spiritual blessing.
I am the head and not the tail.
I am His.
I am strong.
Everything I put my hands to will prosper and succeed.
I am seated in Heavenly places.
I win.
I am conjoined with Christ.
I am saved – whole, restored, forgiven, redeemed.
I am confident in Him.
I am equipped for every good work.
I am all together beautiful. He finds no fault in me.
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am who God says I am.
What is on your mind this morning? It’s not too late to let God’s thoughts of you become your thoughts of you. It’s not too late to evict worry, regret, disappointment and replace those thoughts with peace, hope, joy.
We have the mind of Christ!
“Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”
1 Corinthians 2:16 NIV
