Let us remember, each and every person, was made in the image of God. Each and every person carries a piece of His glory. Therefore, every person – black, white, Asian, Latino, Christian, Jewish, Muslim – is valuable. We are all His masterpiece created for a purpose.

The violence will continue
Until We learn to see and value the intrinsic beauty of each person

Until we learn to celebrate our differences and not use our differences to divide us

Until we learn not to see people as a collective but to see each person as an individual

Until we learn to love like Jesus who befriended the outcasts of society

Until we mourn not as a black community when a life is senselessly lost, but we mourn as a nation

Until we learn to forgive

Until we learn to live together, worship together, pray together

Let us begin teaching these lessons to our children and our children’s children. Let us begin modeling this. Now is not the time to fear. Now is the time to love. Love never fails!
