Life is full of challenges. Financial devastation. Broken marriages and relationships. Wayward children. Job loss. Severe weather. Sickness. Divorce. Hopelessness. All come to kill, steal, and destroy. But Jesus promised He came to give us abundant life. Are there areas in your life where you are wondering, “Where is my abundance?”

God wants to remind you today that He restores – He makes better than before. He restores relationships, finances, marriages, health, job loss, broken hearts, your past. He can give you back your child, your spouse, your hope.

His restoration leaves you in a better position than you were before. He restores so beautifully and so completely, you may be tempted to think the bad was designed by Him. It wasn’t. He is just incredibly redemptive.

Where in your life do you need to see God’s restoration? Meditate on this scripture: “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust.” (Joel 2:25a NKJV) Use your God-given imagination and begin to see that area restored. Declare God’s restoration over that area. Stand on His promise to restore – to make better than before.

Give him your places of devastation today. Allow His redemptive power to take you from the pit to the palace, from brokenness to wholeness, from heartache to joy. He is a restoring God and He wants to restore you!
