There is no lack in heaven. There are no needs in heaven. There is worship happening 24/7. The atmosphere is filled with complete love, complete peace. There is no jealousy, no fear, no guilt. There is unbroken fellowship with the Father.

Why would anyone leave heaven and come to earth?

God is all-powerful, all-knowing. He rules the earth and sky. He speaks and all of creation must obey. He owns everything.

Why would anyone willingly lay all of that down to live as man?

One word: LOVE

Jesus loved you and me so very much that He left the beauty and majesty of heaven to come to a fallen world full of fear, hatred, and oppression. He laid down His Deity, took the form of man, lived a humble, obedient life as the illegitimate son of a carpenter. He gave up the vast richness of heaven, allowed himself to be poor, suffered the cross so that you and I could enjoy the vastness of heaven. So that you and I could experience heaven on earth.

Let us not squander the generosity of the Father, the sacrifice of the Son. Let us walk in the fullness of who we are in Christ and what was provided for us on the cross. He became poor, so that we might become rich. Every spiritual blessing is yours. Let His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
