“I will bless you and you shall be a blessing.”

Thus began God’s covenant with the Israel nation. Fast forward through laws, kings, Pharisees to Jesus. Jesus completely and beautifully fulfills the law so that Jews and Gentiles, men and women, blacks and whites, Europeans and Middle-Easterners, Asians and Islanders, ANYONE who believes the Good News can all enjoy the same blessings.

What are those blessings?
Blessed to be a blessing
Health
Satisfied with long life
Forgiveness
Peace
Victory
Fruitfulness
Equipping
Rest
Hope
Joy
Freedom
Just to name a few. The Bible contains many more.

And what is the Good News we must believe? That God sent His Son, Jesus, to die as us. He took the punishment that we deserved as sinners so that we can stand before God as holy and blameless. He came not to condemn but offer forgiveness, not to kill but to give life abundantly. This is the Good News that while we were sinners, Christ died for us and as us.

Believe the Good News my friends and then believe God wants to bless you so that you can be a blessing!
