Between you and your promise is most often a giant.
Abraham had to slay infertility.
Moses had to slay impetuousness and condemnation.
Joseph had to slay enslavement and accusations.
David had to slay Goliath, jealousy and low expectations.
When it was time for the children of Israel to receive their promised land, it was everything God had promised. A land flowing with milk and honey, fruit as big as your head, and abundance. But standing between them and their promised land were giants.
What giant is standing between you and God’s promise for you? Insecurity? Provision? Pride? Sickness?
It doesn’t matter. Develop the tenacity and the faith of Caleb! Know no matter what giant stands between you and your promise, God has equipped you to slay it. If God is for you, no giant can stand against you.
Go up. Face your giant! Posses your promised land.
“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30 ASV
