Day 31 – Prayer for Contentment
Prayer:
Father, I thank you that the joy of the Lord is my strength. You have given me grace to rejoice in every situation and to see You at work in every circumstance. Father, I trust You and I know, despite what I may be facing at this moment, all things will work together for my good, because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose. Father, fill me with Your joy.
Father, like Apostle Paul, You have given me the grace to be content in every circumstance. I can truly do all things through You who gives me strength. Therefore, I rest in You. I do not have to strive to have a right attitude. I don’t have to pretend. I simply rest in You and Your grace, which teaches me to say no to unrighteousness.
Father, you are El-Shaddai, Lord God Almighty. You are Jehovah Jireh, and I know Father that You will supply all of my needs from Your unlimited resources. I am Your child, and You give to me generously and abundantly. So Father, I rest in You. I do not strive, nor am I anxious about tomorrow. I trust You will provide all that I need. You are my Shepherd, I shall not lack any good thing. Father, in faith that you will not withhold anything from me, I ask for (list your heart’s desires).
Declarations:
I am the daughter of the Most High.
The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not lack any good thing.
My God supplies all of my needs according to His riches in glory.
Decree:
I know how to be content in every circumstance.
Scripture References:
“Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4, 13, 19 NLT
Thank you for taking this journey with me. I pray you have been blessed and I look forward to hearing about what God has done in your life and in your family lives. He really is good!
Blessings,
Melissa
