Is There Some Sin in My Life That Prevents God from Healing Me?
Jesus was pierced for our rebellion against God, crushed for our depravity, our perverse ways were laid upon him so that by His wounds we all can receive His healing power.
There is no sin in our lives that is greater than Jesus redemptive work on the cross. During the three years Jesus ministered upon this earth, countless men and women were healed according to the Gospels. His work was continued in the book of Acts with the disciples healing countless more. In all the stories of miraculous healing, no one was ever refused because of a sin in their lives.
Paul was shipwrecked on the Island of Malta. He was greeted by the natives of the land. These natives undoubtedly worshipped other gods(Acts 28:6). Yet Paul healed the Chief Leader’s father and all who were diseased on the island. (Acts 28:8, 9).
We must remember and believe our sins were born by Jesus on the cross. By His stripes we are healed.
The word, heal, in the Greek is Iaomai, and it means to cure, to make whole, to free from errors and sins. Jesus’ death and resurrection made us whole physically and spiritually. We do not question the latter. Let us not question the former either.
Do not believe the lie my friend that some great sin is preventing the healing (physical and spiritual) power of God from working in your life. You are healed!

“But he was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises* we are healed. We all, like sheep, went astray; we turned, each one, to his own way; yet ADONAI laid on him the guilt of all of us.”
