According to James, your trouble is just an opportunity for great joy! Why?

Your trouble is an opportunity to experience a miracle. Your trouble is another opportunity to see God heal. Your trouble is another opportunity for God to reveal a new aspect of His character. In the storm, you will see God’s faithfulness, His love, and experience His comfort. The storm is temporary but the lessons learned in the storm are for a lifetime.

Do you have trouble or do you have another chance to experience first hand the mighty, loving, redeeming acts of God? Do you have trouble or a blessing in disquise?

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (James 1:2-4 NLT)
