Thanksgiving Blessing
Through this event, we bless families throughout Wake County with turkeys, groceries, and heartfelt moments of connection. In 2024 alone, we were able to provide meals to over 200 families! Our goal in 2025 is 300 families, which will require a lot of prayers and support! Beyond providing meals, we’ve had the privilege of visiting families in their homes, praying for them, and fostering a sense of community. This event is a beautiful opportunity to share the love of God and remind families that they are seen, loved, cared for, and supported.

How to Donate
- If you like to shop:
- Purchase the items from the shopping list below for every box you would like to contribute, and bring to one of the drop off locations AND/OR
- Purchase a frozen turkey, and bring to one of the drop off locations
- If you don’t like to shop: Donate financially and we will do the shopping for you.
- We also need sturdy boxes to pack the groceries into!
- Boxes that held printer paper
- “Banana Boxes” (such as the ones you can get from Aldi)
Volunteers are needed…
- Sunday, November 16th – Organize the supplies and take inventory
- Tuesday, November 18th – Move Supplies and Prep for Packing
- Wednesday, November 19th – Pack Groceries
- November 22nd – Deliver the groceries
- Now through November 22nd – Pray for the event

- Plenty of supplies and volunteers
- Good weather the day of the event
- Those receiving groceries and the other residents in these communities
- Many of the residents in the communities we serve are in a place of financial hardship or limitation for various reasons. Several of them are dealing with health issues or other life circumstances that make working difficult. Some of them work multiple jobs and it simply isn’t enough to make ends meet. Please pray for the well being of these families and that they would receive blessings, success, and support, both from this event and otherwise.
