Remember the Vision

I have not slept well for the last three nights. So I grumbled when the alarm blared at 4:45 this morning. I thought, I will just try to go back to sleep. I won’t write this morning because I’m tired and I have nothing to say.

I’m not sure if I were compelled by routine or the Holy Spirit, but 15 minutes later, I was reading His Word. The first thing I read was a scripture someone prophetically gave me about 8 years ago. At the time, it spoke to me and I received it readily. I have referenced back to that word several times. But this morning, I could see how this scripture is coming to pass in my life. The scripture reads:

“The Lord GOD has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭50:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Prophetic is powerful! It gives us a vision for our lives. It reminds us of our purpose and gives us the power and the strength to do that which God called us to do without grumbling and complaining.

I repent about grumbling this morning, for it is God who awakens me in the morning. I laugh at the notion that I ever have anything to say because it is Him who gives me words to speak. This afternoon, I will write with joy because God has a word for the weary.

If you are weary in well doing this morning, ask the Holy Spirit to remind you what He has called you to do. Be energized by your purpose. Be driven by His vision for your life. Be compelled by compassion to change your world. Let the joy set before you propel you into your destiny.

Remember the words God has spoken over you.
