Let’s Go!

Is it time to step into your promised land? I believe it is. I believe God is releasing a grace to move forward into your dreams. As He instructed Joshua, He is instructing us.

1. Moses your servant is dead. I believe this signifies a time of letting go of the past. Often when God is calling you to your next level of breakthrough, we hold onto the security of the past. You don’t drive by focusing on your rear view mirror. You may need to glance at it occasionally. But we must move forward by looking toward.

2. Meditate on my Word day and night. As we move forward, we must be completely in tuned with God’s voice and the leading of the Spirit. Again, we can’t do things like we have done before. This is a new day which requires a new strategy. We must be completely dependent upon Him. Listen to His voice.

3. Be strong and courageous. Courage is a step beyond fear. Courage requires action. To be courageous mean you are going where no one has gone before, you are doing what is difficult, you are leading others to new places of boldness. When Jesus calmed the sea, the disciples no longer feared but it was courage that led Peter to step out on water. Taking your promised land will require courage!

This morning, I see my promised land. I see the Lord leading me to a greater level of anointing. I see more gifts being poured out. I see a greater mantle being placed on me. I see my promised land. Can you see your promised land? Envision it with me.

After the death of Moses the servant of GOD, GOD spoke to Joshua, Moses’ assistant: “Moses my servant is dead. Get going. Cross this Jordan River, you and all the people. Cross to the country I’m giving to the People of Israel. I’m giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on—just as I promised Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon east to the Great River, the Euphrates River—all the Hittite country—and then west to the Great Sea. It’s all yours. All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I’ll be with you. I won’t give up on you; I won’t leave you. Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don’t get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you’re going. And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed. Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. GOD, your God, is with you every step you take.” (Joshua 1:1-9 MSG)
