I love my job! I get to inspire. I get to encourage. I get to shape futures. I get to advise. I get to make people laugh. I get to speak life to people. I get to be a demonstration of God’s love.

You may be thinking, “Well, that’s good for you but my office is not like that. The people I work with are mean. My customers are rude. My workplace is hostile to the gospel.”

All of that may be facts but see the truth. The truth is You have been raised together with Christ. The word raised together means conjoined. Conjoined twins must travel together. So wherever you go, Jesus goes. And Jesus changes the atmosphere everywhere He goes. Jesus resurrected every dead person He encountered in His Ministry. He can resurrect your workplace experience. He resurrected mine.

So when you go to work today, let the light within you infiltrate the darkness not the other way around. Choose today to encourage someone, to make someone laugh, to speak life, to be a demonstration of God’s love. Choose to see God at work at your job.

You have been purposefully placed at your place of employment. Do not allow the enemy to steal your joy. Go out and make this the best Friday ever!
