When Jesus saw the woman who had a crippling disease for 18 years, he was indignant. He could not wait until it was socially acceptable. He didn’t wait until the people were ready. He looked at her and in that moment declared, “Woman, you are free!”

We are sons and daughters of Abraham! We have a covenant of healing and liberty. God has promised through Abraham that we will be blessed AND shall be a blessing. All the earth shall be blessed through us. (Genesis 12:2&3)

We are sons and daughters of Abraham! We inherited his spiritual DNA. We called those things that be not as though they are. We do not consider the deadness of a situation. We believe despite what we see. We do not waver at the promises of God through unbelief, but are strengthened in faith giving glory to God. We are fully convinced, He who promised will grant what He promised. (Romans 4:19&21).

So whatever is stealing your freedom, whatever is keeping you bound – sickness, addictions, depression, fear, loneliness, poverty, Jesus is saying, “Child of Abraham, you are free!”

We have covenant of blessings not curses. We have inherited unrelenting faith not doubt. We have allowed the bondage too long. Today is a good day to walk in the freedom that already belongs to us.

“And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?””
