Double for his troubles

It has been week. My daughter in a tornado. My son in a car accident. My husband had a health scare and rushed to the ER. (He is fine. Actually the doctor said his lab results were beautiful.) The enemy has stolen a lot from me and my family this week. But I’m excited! Why? God has promised to restore double all the enemy has stolen.

In my next book, I am writing about God’s resurrection, redemption, and restoration. God is reminding me how I have experienced his restorative power throughout my life. I am convinced that he will restore this situation as well. My family will emerge stronger, more prosperous, more convinced of God’s goodness and faithfulness.

God’s promise to restore is not just for me and my family. It is your promise as well. Where has the enemy stolen from you? Has he attacked your finances? Your relationships? Your self-esteem? Trust that God will resurrect, redeem, and restore even your graveyard dead circumstances. You too will emerge stronger, richer, more convinced of His goodness. Trust Him. Get excited because when God restores you are left better than when the bad happened.

“Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬
