If you are in Christ, you have been called into full time ministry.

Now, don’t get excited and quit your day job.

We have ALL been giving the ministry of reconciliation. It is all of our jobs to reconcile the lost back to Him. And you don’t have to quit your day job to do that. As a matter of fact, there is probably more opportunity to do that at your job, at the grocery store, at the local coffee shop than there is at church everyday surrounded by Christians.

Paul said we are God’s ambassadors. Ambassadors don’t stay in their own country. They are their country’s representative in foreign lands. We are God’s representatives in the world and we must live outside the church to do our job effectively.

So now go to your job today. Not as an employee but as an ambassador, as a representative from the Kingdom of God. Go and spread the message of a King who is reconciling the world through Christ and is no longer counting their sins against them.

God has strategically put you at your job to
Love the unlovable.
Be light in the darkness
Pray for those who are hurting
Be a beacon of hope where there is despair
Be His hands and feet
To walk in your ministry of reconciliation.

Don’t quit your day job. It’s from God.

“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”
