Declaration

If you are a Christian, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You are perpetually accepted by God. Your righteousness is a Sovereign act of God. It does not ebb and flow with your behavior. It is a permanent condition.

As such, you can receive all of the promises of God for those who are righteous. I challenge you today today to read Psalm 112 and believe this is who you are. I’ve personalized the verse to help you get started. It’s going to sound arrogant but remember this is who you are not because of what you have done but rather what God on has done for you. Humility agrees with God.

“My children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. I am wealthy, and my good deeds will last forever. Light shines in the darkness for me. I am generous, compassionate, and righteous. Good comes to me as I lend money generously and conduct my business fairly. I will not be overcome by evil. I will be long remembered. I will not fear bad news; I confidently trust the LORD to care for me. I am confident and fearless and can face my foes triumphantly. I share freely and give generously to those in need. My good deeds will be remembered forever. I have influence and honor. The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.”
